End blackening has long been a hot topic for both salon operators, and their customers. A blackened lamp suggests overused equipment, and weak tanning output.

CCT^TM signifies a revolutionary technological advance on traditional very high output reflector tubes. The center-piece of LightTech’s patented solution is the complete sheathing of the filament or electrode in a special cup-shaped metal cover (the cup cathode). This may sound simple, but turns out to be a very clever design that brings far-reaching improvements. The sheath both optimizes the lamp's thermal efficiency, and radically reduces the loss of emission material at the ends of the tube. As a result, lamps can operate without blackening throughout their useful life.

CCT^TM lamps guarantee optimal UV output from their very first tanning session until the tube is due to be changed.
