LCD Lighting offers superior quality vacuum-sealed medium pressure ultraviolet (MPUV) lamps engineered for diverse applications.
 
MPUV technology has changed tremendously in the last decade, far beyond its initial use for the curing of inks, adhesives and coatings. MPUV lamps provide a strong source of ultraviolet radiation for the polymerization or UV light “curing” of various materials, including wood, glass, metal and plastic.

We provide an extensive line of standard and custom MPUV lamps for every application. Our lamps are available from 100 watts per inch to over 700 watts per inch and have arc lengths ranging from 2 to 85 inches.

Quality Lamp Construction
All of our MPUV lamps are constructed from the finest materials and manufacturing techniques available, including:

• high-quality, ultra-low water content fused quartz,
• hermetic seal using molybdenum foil within a hard quartz capillary
• pure tungsten pin electrodes with an over-wind of throated tungsten.

Each lamp is pumped and filled with an inert Argon gas in an exacting process ensuring total accuracy of fill pressure and mercury content. The lamp is then completed by the use of either a metal or ceramic base and suitable electrical termination. Each lamp has a serial number enabling complete traceability from start to finish in the production and measurement process.
